Product of the Month - April 2018
Since baseball parents and sports parents in general use specific products for their kids and for themselves, I’m starting a new monthly series of featured products that I think are useful, fun, practical, or just things that sports parents will like.
Mr. Heater
This heater has a steel case and can be used indoors or outdoors. It operates on the small propane canisters just like a camping stove or camping lantern.
An integrated fan increases the heating capacity of this unit, blending radiant and convection style heat to give you the best of both worlds.
There is an auto shut off feature in case it gets knocked over, making it very safe for use at the games. With an adapter and hose, it can also be hooked up to a larger, external gas source.
One of our team dads had this heater at the last baseball game which was on a weeknight and started at 5:00. By 6:00 the sun had gone behind some trees and the cold started kicking in. Mind you, we’re in California and it’s not as cold as in other parts of the country, but when the sun goes down in March and the wind starts whipping, those games can get pretty cold.
I will be saving up for this baby! 🙂
